Bonsai Bowls 2001 to Present
Strong use's the name "Bonsai" for his bowl series to reflect the same attitude and spirit that is used in creating the Japanese Bonsai tree. The Bonsai Tree is manipulated to be asymetrical and off center while retaining perfect balance and harmony. The Bonsai Bowl and Cone series emphasize both balance and harmony in color and fluidity.
Hawaiian Orchid Series
This series begain in 2003 with the piece "Red Orchid". It has its origins in both organic flower forms and previous goblet series.
